The review notes that other microbes — certain lactobacilli and bifidobacteria — can also degrade oxalate to varying degrees, which is where probiotic interest comes from.
The honest caveat is dose and strain. Not every yogurt culture meaningfully lowers urine oxalate, and the review is explicit that human evidence is still preliminary.
